Polyoxymethylene, POM, people also name it as acetal resin, polyacetal, polyacetal plastic, polytrioxane and polyformaldehyde, is a semi-crystalline engineering thermoplastic, normally available in homopolymer or copolymer.
Under temperatrue −40 °C, polyoxymethylene POM products still with good perforamce of high strength, hardness and rigidity. POM becomes a very good replacement for metal materials.

Modified polyoxymethylene Grades:
Reinforced Grades: Glass fiber, carbon fiber or glass spheres-reinforced POM polyacetal plastic, high tensile strength or rigidity;
High Slip/Wear Grades: Modified polyoxymethylene with additives such as graphite, PTFE, mineral fillers, etc. enhances abrasion resistant and slip properties;
UV Stabilized Grades: Modified polyacetal plastic with UV stabilizers, like hindered-amine light stabilizers and UV absorbers to improve the UV stability;
High Impact/Toughened Grades: Blending polyacetal plastic with rubber, TPU and other polymers for higher impact strength;
Antistatic/conductive Grades: Modified polyoxymethylene with Al powder or bronze powder to enhance electrical conductivity.
